AUGUST 28--So what recording act was featured on the t-shirts of all five arrestees?

Michael Jackson, Slipknot, the Rolling Stones, and AC/DC were the leading vote getters among the wide range of recording artists tabbed by contest entrants. And by wide range, we mean guesses for the likes of Buffy Sainte-Marie, the Dead Kennedys, and Rosemary Clooney were among the nearly 800 entries.

As seen below, the band favored by the busted quintet is actually Lynyrd Skynyrd.

A dozen contestants correctly identified the legendary Southern rockers, and from that group five names will be drawn at random, with the winners getting their choice of a title on The New York Times fiction or nonfiction best seller list.
