Friday Photo Fun XXXII Results
Bad things involving Polanski, Siegel occurred at the two sites
OCTOBER 9--For today's "Friday Photo Fun" contest, entrants had to examine the below photo aerial photos and determine what crimes occurred at these Los Angeles residences.
Just about every famous L.A. crime victim and arrestee was cited among the more than 700 entries: Charles Manson; Christian Brando; the Menendez brothers; Sharon Tate; Phil Spector; O.J. Simpson; Phil Hartman; and Heidi Fleiss, among others.
But the images actually showed the Mulholland Drive home where Roman Polanski assaulted a 13-year-old girl in 1977 (top photo), and the Beverly Hills home where gangster Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel was rubbed out in 1947.
Five names will now be drawn at random from among the correct answers, and winners will get their choice of a title on The New York Times fiction or nonfiction best seller list.
